Franky's Bakery Fruit Powder Watermelon is a pure pear lyophilisate from fruit pulp, with no added sugar, sweeteners, flavors, dyes or preservatives. Ideal as a base for homemade sugar-free desserts - ice cream, creams or yoghurts.

Lyophilisates were first used by NASA in the 1960s. Seeking space crews for food items throughout the duration of long missions - and the perfect way to store food! Sublimation - that's how this proces is called - it involves removing the water from the product that is freezing and then converting it directly into steam. To put it simply: rapid water freezing occurs. The product retains all the nutrients, and most importantly it tastes great. To re-create the taste of fresh fruit, it is enough to add a small amount of cold water or other liquid.

Watermelon influences the improvement of metabolism and supports the digestive system. It is a source of vitamins, as well as calcium, phosphorus and iron. It acts as an antioxidant, which prevents aging. Lycopene content can protect against civilization diseases, including cancer.
