Lizi's low-sugar granola is a breakfast cereal made for those people who are just plain sweet or want to control the amount of sugar they eat. Granola Lizi's does not contain added sugar - it contains a small addition of malt syrup - just as much as needed to make oatmeal flakes baked in the course of the baking deliciously crisp, crunchy and delicious.


Rich source of beta glucan

The oatmeal from which Lizi's low sugar granola is made is rich in beta-glucan - a type of fiber that is soluble in oats. Studies have shown that eating 3g beta glucan a day contributes to lowering cholesterol levels and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease - beta glucan contributes to lowering total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol ("bad cholesterol") and triglycerides in the blood. 50g of Lizoli's granola supplies 46% of the daily requirement for beta-glucan.

Lizi's granola is a fantastic blend of wholesome ingredients - coconut, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashew nuts, pumpkin and sunflower seeds and linseed. All these ingredients combine the sweetness of roasted malted syrup.

Lizi's granola-flavored granola is a roasted whole grain oatmeal with a very low glycemic load of GL 5,5 - therefore, unlike the usual breakfast cereal after eating Lizi's portion for breakfast, the feeling of satiety will accompany you until lunch, for something sweet!


What is a Glycemic Index?

The glycemic index (IG) describes the carbohydrate properties of the carbohydrates we consume, but does not account for the amount of carbohydrate consumed in a given meal.
The second parameter, glycemic load, is to be used to determine the exact amount of carbohydrates. GL (glycemic load) is the number of insulin released into the blood after eating a given meal. The glycemic loads of the ingredients of a meal, as well as all meals during the day, can be added together. It has been shown that meals with a GL of less than 20g (thus increasing insulin levels in the same way as 20g of pure glucose) have little effect on blood sugar levels. It is best to eat 3 meals a day with a GL of no more than 20 and two snacks with a GL of no more than 10.

With GL you do not have to completely give up carbohydrates for that much easier to choose is the 'good' ones that give you a feeling of satiety for longer - exactly such carbohydrates are in Lizi's granola with a glycemic load of 5.5 - even several times lower than the usual breakfast cereal loaded with simple carbohydrates of the same grammage.

Granola Lizi's is not a medicinal product and may be consumed only by a diabetologist in the case of people suffering from metabolic diseases.

Ingredients: Jumbo oatmeal, rapeseed oil, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cashew nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, desiccated coconut (maximum dry and without any water from the pulp), fructose (1.6%), barley malt (1.6%)

Allergens: gluten, hazelnuts, walnuts and cashew nuts are processed in the plant.

Due to the large content of nuts and the ability to choke granola should not be given to small children
