Splenda® 300 Sweets Minis - concentrated table-top sweetener in sucralose-based tablets, with a sucralose concentration of 40%.

Splenda® sweetness comes from a substance called sucralose, a calorie-free sweetener 600 times sweeter than sugar, which can be used as part of a healthy and balanced diet that helps reduce the amount of absorbed sugars and carbohydrates.

Sucralose was discovered in 1976. at the Tate & Lyle laboratories at Queen Elizabeth College and the process of its formation was patented in the same year. As a result of this process, sugar (sucrose) is converted into a calorie-free and almost carbohydrate-free sweetener. One Splenda® tablet (equivalent to 1 teaspoon of sugar) contains less carbohydrate than any other sweetener on the market (less than 0.5 grams) and this is the amount necessary to give the product the desired volume and form of the tablet.

In addition, Splenda® is resistant to high temperatures (up to 220 ° C), which means that its chemical structure does not change during the preparation of dishes at high temperature - thanks to this, Splenda® is the right product for use, for example, in baking cakes (as opposed to to aspartame).
